Default Interview with Richie in norwegian newspaper

There's a interview with Richie in a norwegian newspaper.

I'll translate the most importaint part now. And if there's a need for a full translation, I'll maybe do that tomorrow.

So it goes like this:

Looking forward to rock 30000 norwegian fans (but Emil are coming, so there's one mistake...)

The he claim the band never fight and that their not divas. They never get tired of the work or each other.

Richie is exited to play in Norway (who wouldn't? ) "It's fantastic" says Richie when he's told that 30000 was sold out very fast. 22000 in two hours.

Then there's a little background info we alredy know (New Jerseyband, 25 years, 120 millions yada yada yada).
The band has 100 persons who follow them around the tour, + 100 at the local place. 20 trucks and 7 buses follows the band. It takes 4 days to rig up a scene and 16 hours to tear it down. Total stageweight: 50000 ton!

"We wanna give the fans extra beautiful and big conserts, and we always play longer than most bands do, and we're doin' it in Norway too" brags Richie.

The Lost Highway-tour has sold over 1 million tickets worldwide.

He carries 24 diffrent guitars with him, each particular chosen.
Why?
"Because I like them" laughs Sambora.
"But the numbers guitar isn't so importaint. What matters is that general public and fans show up and that we're worth the money."
Richie says they got no big, fancy rider (do we know their rider btw????)
"We're no divas" says Richie.

"As long as we have a room, we saticfied (yeah right...). After 25 years in buisness, we've learned that it's about entertainment, and we always deliver!
When we come to Oslo, we'll play old hits (please not only hits!).

It's the 4'th time they play in Norway, last time was at the Nobel Peace Price in 2001. (Last real gig 1993....!!!)

"It's about time we'll visit you again" says Richie. (Yeah it is!)

Then there's the usual stuff about the band being friends and had a little break at the early 90s, but the don't have any plans about breaking up.
And then there's something about his personl life, Denise, Heather, Ava, drunkendriving, yup, you get it don't you???

"Nobody's perfect We all do mistakes, but that's in the past now" claims Richie.

He confirms he has a girlfriend (sorry girls). No given name though.

"Bon Jovi is first priority, but a third soloalbum would be great"

Prayer and Lost Highway are among his personal favourites.

Newspaper: "American newspapers says your planing to teach Beckham to play guitar. Is that right?" (Says it isn't so!)

Richie: "I dunno how those rumours started, but I wouldn't mind, it would be a pleasure" laughs Richie.

Newpaper: "If so, maybe he could be a guestartist for Bon Jovi?" (Ok this must not happen...!!! )

Richie: "Or maybe Beckham and I'll start our own band" laughs Richie.

*The End*

Yes, thats about it. Hope you found it of interest.

Thanks for taking the time to translate the interview. Is there a link to it?

Look in their eyes Mom you'll see me."
