Default welcome home

I went home to visit my family in London the other day, when I got to London Bridge station I found out that all the overground ticket barriers have been jovi-fied. Part of me was quite excited and wanted to punch the air, but part of me just kind of shrugged and thought 'ah, things are as they're meant to be'. UPCOMING CHEESY LINE WARNING: They were advertising the Lost Highway tour, but to me they just said 'welcome to wherever you are'.

On a less selfish level I guess it means tickets aren't selling like they hoped, and it would be better really if the band sold tickets off of the album than an advertising campaign IMO, but hey... I thought it looked cool

Does anyone know if the same adverts are up anywhere else?

x

Fenchurch Street station has been Jovi-fied too, with pictures on the ticket barriers and what-not. My girlfriend thinks they have jinxed the station as the trains have been knackered every day since they have been there!

I think so too. Wish we had that at the NYC subway stations for the MSG shows, oh that's right, they don't need advertising since they are sold out, lol!

I suppose they could go ahead and advertise in NYC just to rub it in for everybody not going..... seems a bit cruel, though

There was tons of advertising around here for the Prudential shows - I posted some pictues of it at the time. As we all know those weren't completely sold out either.

However - thanks to connections with Port Authority - I have a nice, full sized subway poster from those shows
