Philly Soul WIN Arena Championship 59-56 wow last minute drama, got a bit close but they did it ......

interviews with owners and players coming up.... Jon just hugged Richie....

Jon just held the trophy and said the trophyy is as light as a feather !!!!!!!!!

Jon says there was no need for bed checks this week, the men were calm and collected and had fun, this is their moment.... Jon said he went to get ready t ocollect the trophy and then the last minute was heart wrenching, he was to short to see what was going on !!!!! referring to San Jose suddenly scoring 14 points in 11secs making it a 3 point game)....

Jon promises the championship ring will be tasteful,timeless and classy.....

YEEEEEAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! Soul!! They won the Super Bowl. It was touch and go at the end. What a killer for Jon.

I didn't see any coverage of any speeches. Where was it? The station went right into the news. Anyone know where to look?

I am soooo dang happy for the team. I tried to get to New Orleans (my brother lives there) but couldn't because of a client obligation in Charlotte, NC. I am very proud of the team. The guys that sit next to me (they've been season ticketholders like me for the last 5 years) called me from New Orleans. There is going to be some big partying tonight.

For those of you who don't know about American Football, Real American Football is the National Football League, which (other than Soccer) is the most successful professional sport on the planet.

The other, almost nonexistent league, is Arena Football. One of the most irrelevant pro games in this county. Want to know how irrelevant? I live in the Philly area, I listen to sports radio here all the time. Absolutely no one is talking about the Soul. No one. It's just. Not. Relevant.

Not trying to make Jon look bad, just trying to make sure everyone has this in perspective. The people in this area actually love the guy, a lot of em wish he owned the Eagles (the NFL team) instead.
