I was wondering if anyone can tell me what CD singles the following songs are from, if you know...

Walk Like a Man
Alive
Save a Prayer
The End
Do it to Ya
Gimmie Some
Never Enough (Too Much, Too Soon)
Love Hurts
Let's Make it Baby

Rosie
Growing Up the Hardway
Does Anybody Really Fall in Love Anymore

I want to buy the CDs off ebay.

Cheers Matt.

I don't think all of them are commercially available. Some are from demo sessions that have just leaked over the years. I've done my very best (within the space of about 2 minutes) to list which have been commercially released and where you can get them.

Walk Like a Man - Lost Highway U.S. Bonus track
Alive - All About Lovin' You (DVD Single)
Save a Prayer (Originally Keep The Faith bonus track, now also on Cross Road Deluxe Sound & Vision box set)
The End - This Ain't A Love Song single
Do it to Ya
Gimmie Some - Sex Sells (what became Crush) demo. Not commerially available
Never Enough (Too Much, Too Soon)
Love Hurts
Let's Make it Baby - These Days bonus CD
Love is War - Livin' In Sin b-side (I think)
Rosie - New Jersey demo, not commercially available I think
Growing Up the Hardway
Does Anybody Really Fall in Love Anymore - leaked NJ demo
Deep Cuts the Knife - leaked SWW demo
Game of the Heart - leaked SWW demo
Judgment Day - leaked NJ demo
River of Love (Come Alive) - leaked NJ demo
Lonely is the Night - leaked SWW/NJ demo
Backdoor to Heaven - leaked NJ demo
Now and Forever - leaked NJ demo

It's Deep Cuts The Night. And I don't think these (along with Deep Cuts) have been published anywhere, they're just demos for either SWW or NJ.

Never Enough (Too Much, Too Soon)
Love Hurts
Growing Up The Hard Way
Game of the Heart
Judgment Day
River of Love (Come Alive)
Lonely is the Night
Backdoor to Heaven
Now and Forever

Do It To Ya was released as MP3 on the websites American XS -portion around HAND release.

Glad to help!

Sorry, but that's nowhere near a complete discography.

Check http://www.bonjovi-archives.com/ and the parts that are done (for example Crush era) and see how much is missing from your discography page. Listing official albums and just the version you have isn't enough.

Is that version of Love Hurts really recorded by BJ?I don't know if we're talking about the same songs but I got a version and it doesn't sound like Jon at all, although it says it's by BJ and it's a NJ demo.

Yeah, I have what is probably the same version, and I'm positive it's not BJ

I have two different songs titled Love Hurts, both claiming to be Bon Jovi. One is a ballad that doesn't sound anything like Jon. The other one is heavier and more "demo sounding" and sounds like it would be from that era.

The ballad is a band called Nazareth covering Everly Brothers (?) song. The other is a rock song and a genuine NJ demo. Great song BTW.

I researched this several years ago. Here is a page covering both versions of the song by Nasareth and The Everly Brothers. Keep in mind that neither of them wrote it.

http://www.cover-vs-original.com/song-22.html

Here is the results of my digging a long time ago:

Yes. The song was recorded by the Everly Brothers but (possibly even first) it was released as a single by Roy Orbison, however, neither wrote the song. It was written by Boudleaux Bryant (although it was his wife Feline that got him into songwriting). Love Hurts is one of the songs that Boudleaux wrote on his own, although most were worked on by both. Known mostly as songwriters, the couple did perform some of their own songs, especially notable is the Country Music Hall of Fame Vol 1.

What isn't perfectly clear is whether the Everly Brothers recorded Love Hurts before Roy Orbison. Roy released the song as a hit; the Everly Brothers as an album track. Roy's version is dated 1961 (March 1961). A note on an Everly Brothers site states:
Love Hurts [first recorded version] (Boudleaux Bryant) Recorded in Nashville, July 13, 1960 First issued on U.S. Warner Bros. album #WS 1395/U.K. #WS 8028

The "first recorded version" appears to be a reference to the different times the song appeared on Everly Brothers albums, not that it was recorded before Roy Orbison's version. A couple of Everly Brothers sites seem to confirm this. Love Hurts is more universally known as a Roy Orbison song than the Everly Brothers. Many even think the song was written by Roy Orbison; some lyrics websites even give him credit instead of Boudleaux Bryant. Regardless, the known dates seem to indicate that the Everly Brothers recorded it first (in 1960) even if it didn't become as well known or even released until after Roy's. That is understandable given that Boudleaux Bryant presented many of the songs he wrote to the Everly Brothers first.
------------------------

I am also a big Everly Brothers (and Roy Orbison) fan so I found this whole history fascinating. Not to mention that I probably had too much time on my hands LOL.
