Default Live music on cd

I got so fed up of listening to studio music that i downloaded this chinese software known as Wondershare Audio ripper so that i can convert the sound from the concerts to cd. Have about ten done and it is great fun having these to listen to constantly. A couple such as Rio '90 and Buffallo '93 are not great quality but still more preferable. johannesburg '95 and the official Crush dvd would not rip which was disappointing. How many other of you guys do this??

well i do have a lot of live shows on my ipod, but there just downloaded bootlegs rather than DVD, dvd's have a much lower sound quality as they are compressed.

I learned years ago that I prefer live (bootleg type) shows to studio tracks. The Bruce bootlegs are far superior to the official albums (in my opinion) as are the Led Zeppelin bootlegs. The early Zep and Bruce stuff sounds dated on the official albums whereas the live stuff does not.

Sure there are some crappy sounding bootlegs - don't listen to those - listen to the best of them and you will be amazed at what some artists do in concert that they didn't do on the officially relaeased tracks.

In Springsteen's case - by the end of any particular tour - he had figured out the best way to play the studio stuff live. It's usually far superior to what got laid down in the studio before the tour even started.

Bon Jovi is usually not so relaxed and they tend not to re-invent themselves during a tour. That said - there are still many bootlegs that are preferable to the studio recordings.

I love listening to live b-sides on singles compared to studio stuff. How do I get all these concerts on to my MP3 player?

It's not a real site. Seb is trying to say "google it"; but being Seb, he has to be an arse as well.
