Default Bon Jovi videos

Hi dear Bon Jovi friends and fans!!
I'm turning to you for a little help I decided to make a complete Bon Jovi video collection - to have all Bon Jovi videos in the best quality possible and to have all versions of the videos. And that's the problem - I can't find a source where I can find a complete list of Bon Jovi videos.
I will post here the videos that I have and I would ask anybody of you who knows any little information to help me. Please.
I have to say that I'm completing second dvd. About a year ago, I got a dvd called The Videohits - it's a collection of 40 clips, they're all in great quality and in surround 5,1 sound. The majority of them is from VH1. And I'm trying to get the rest.

Here's the list of videos that I have. In the brackets is information about source where I got it from and the version of the video if needed

(You Want To) Make A Memory (Official DVD)
Lost Highway (download from internet)
Till We Ain't Strangers Anymore (German TV)
Whole Lot Of Leavin' (German TV)

So here we go, that's all I have. The videos I have on the The Videohits collection are from VH1 - they're the most common versions possible.

After searching and reading some old threads here and browsing internet I found out that many songs have more versions. Here are some that probably exist:
She Don't Know Me, Only Lonely, Bed Of Roses (long and shoer version; I don't know which one i have, probably the long one), Always (according to bj.com there are two versions), Lie To Me (band only version supposedly exists), These Days (I don't know if I should count the video from Live From London DVD as another version), Wanted Dead Or Alive (this one used to be on bj.com), All About Loving You (German version, according to bj.com), Blaze Of Glory (supposedly there is another version than the common one), Miracle (I guess there were two versions on bj.com), Queen Of New Orleans (some second version), Janie Don't Take Your Love To Town (I have the one with Jon in theatre but there is supposedly another one) Destination Anywhere (I think this one doesn't exist but bj.com has it. Btw - the videos from bj.com don't work for two or more years on any of my computers..), Wanted Dead Or Alive 2003 etc..
I don't count the videos from the Bounce DVD as another versions because every video here is different to the original. I know that many songs that I have in the list weren't singles but this is a different situation I guess. Even the Bounce singles has different videos here.

Believe me that I'm going really crazy learning how many ****in' versions exist!!! I'd be so pleased if you could help me somehow. I don't know the differences between the versions etc. Every information helps. You can PM me, if you have some of the videos that I don't. I'm angry with the band that they're not able to make some collection on their own!!

Aloha !

I'm not into video's at all but I can give some information I think:
  • The short video of Bed Of Roses is the radio edit.
  • There are 2 versions of the Always video. One with and one without the storyline in it.
  • A band only video for Lie To Me does indeed exist and like Always, does not include anything of the storyline.
  • There is a proper promo video for These Days, not the one that got heavily rotated on MTV but one with the band miming the song, and it's the one where the promo shot for the single comes from. That's the one from youtube you have I think.
  • The other version of Queen Of New Orleans is without the stripper in it, if I remember correct.
  • There is also a karaoke version of the Thank You For Loving Me video which is essentially the same but has a karaoke mix under it. It was only released in Singapore on a special limited edition of Crush.
  • The German version of All About Lovin' You is without the snow.
  • There's a video for Wanted Dead Or Alive from 2001 as well, it includes some live footage from the One Wild Night Tour and includes backstage footage from the Crush and OWN tour.
  • There's also a video for Wanted 2003 which can be found on the CD single for that song.

Sorry I can't be of any more help but it's the one thing of Bon Jovi's releases I was never interested in. I don't think a video for Destination Anywhere exists though.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Theres also a shorteneed version of Its My Life, with some of the jumping cut out (in front of the truck and from the bedroom window plus others) and a bit more of the band mixed in.

I thought there were official vids for all of the Bounce album tracks. I'm sure I have a DVD of them all somewhere... <runs off to shuffle through masses of unlabelled DVDs>

^^ that's what I've got. It's a rip-off copy but it's still half decent to have.

Thanks Seb for you help! Getting all the versions seems really unreal for me now. And buying a single just because of the video isn't for me. Especially when it's so terrible single. But I will try search some of the alternative versions. I don't understand the logic of making more videos. Like AALY with and without snow...they're making mess in it.

Well I know this one and I have thos one. As I've written in my first post in the thread - I don't count those videos to my project because even the officially previously released videos are different here. It's makes something like story and it's worth wathing imo maybe more than listening to the album.

Thank you all for responding, still hope more people will add

The German without-snow version was because MTV Europe (or Germany) banned showing videos involving snow a few months after christmas, so a hasty re-edit followed so it would still be in rotation.

I've actually found out that I have three Always clips.

The one from The Videohits collection, which was played on VH1, is little bit different from the one that I knew and have as a video. This one is cut differently. Some parts of the story are cut out and replaced by the band and some replaced by different scenes. eg the final scene where the blond boy comes to the atelier and discovers the painting. When he starts to demage the painting and the atelier it moves to the scenes from the beggining of the clip when he is taking photos of his girl and riding car on the wrong side of the road. But the scenes are blurred.
I guess this version is supposed to be not that "violent" and ehm "sexual". Do you know it??

Second one is the classical with the complete story (which still don't understand exactly...or I can't connect it with the lyrics) and the third is just the band only version.

I'm really curious how many other videos have similar defferencies.
