Default Live vs. Studio versions

Are there any songs that you like MUCH better live than on the studio version or MUCH better on the studio version than live?

I like KTF live a lot more than the studio version and Bad Name's studio version 10,000 times better than live versions.

hey,
I think I believe is a lot betta studio than live...they are almost completely different songs, and the studio one has a lot more power than the live version. I also like the studio version of these days betta than live, however i like dry county live probably betta than the studio version

I like the live version of "Always" as opposed to the studio recording...then again, I am not big on the ballads, but Richie's guitar work live on the song is terrific.

I like Keep The Faith live as well. Probably though, I like Wild In The Streets live because of the whole opening:

"One.......Two.......One...Two...One, Two, One-two-three-four!!!"

Take Care,
Norm

I normaly like the LIVE versions a million times more than the studio version, cause people, this is our band playing, without any computers, mixing and so on !!
my favorite live songs are: Livin In Sin, These Days, Always, Captain Crash ...., Love For Sale, Dry County, I Believe, Someday, i could go on and on and on on on on ......
i like every life version of a song more than the studio version !!!

"Something To Believe In" is a lot better live than in the studio version. I think the atmosphere is totally different live, it matches much more with the lyrics.

I like almost all of the live songs as opposed to the album version. The great thing about it though, is that they sometimes sound completely different.

I am more a fan of Bon Jovi - the live band....than studio. Studio albums are more often blue prints to me. So it goes without saying that generally I prefer the live versions. Often a song I didn't like much on the studio album if done live will get my attention....Something To Believe In didn't take until i saw/heard the Yokohama 1996 performance (not off the Live CD....I was surprised they did put that on there though).

I like Always live more than the Cross Road studio version, Richies solo live is fantastic. I like Dry County live more than the studio.
I like the studio verions of You Give Love A Bad Name and Bad Medicine, I don't like the live versions of these song much anymore.

I never liked the studio versions of Bad Medicine and You give love a bad Name, I hardly listen to them, but I like various live versions, Medicine with Shout and Jon talking in the middle and so on... The live version of I believe ain't as powerful as the studio versions, most because of the vocals (sorry Jon). And These Days isn't the best song to be performed live. Living in Sin live is also a bit weak (it's simply too slow). But I love them of course.

I appreciate both, studio and live versions, there is a different mood within them and both have their time and place in my CD player. Studio albums are a piece of art with all the studio tricks and mixing and live you face the band as pure musicians and with the crowd cheering it's a great atmosphere.

I really like the live version of Dry County (it's different, not better than studio), Someday I'll be Saturday Night live is also great when they're doing it for 8 minutes, KTF is live great (Richie rules!!!, better ending) and the live version of Letting you go is very good, because it has the full band and not only Jon and Richie.

Only Lonely and Breakout are live MUCH better than studio, the same goes for Tokyo Road (Rio 1990, wow!). And I love I'll be there for you with the singalongs... ohohoh....

As I said, the band is great doing records and rocking the house (Look at Hey God live from London and you know what I mean!!!!).
