Default David Bryan - solo albums - question to collectors

Another topic to clarify the doubts. Maybe some of the collectors may help on this.

David had two solo albums, On A Full Moon from 1995 and Lunar Eclipse from 2000.
IMO, Lunar Eclipse could be treated as the second edition of On A Full Moon, because the tracklisting is almost the same.

What I am curious about is if there was only one edition of On A Full Moon?

Whererver I check, the tracklist for this album is following:

1. Awakening
2. In These Arms
3. It's a Long Road
4. April
5. Kissed by an Angel
6. Endless Horizon [A Dedication to Horowitz]
7. Lullaby for Two Moons
8. Interlude
9. Midnight Voodoo
10. Room Full of Blues
11. Hear Our Prayer
12. Summer of Dreams
13. Up the River
14. Netherworld Waltz

14 songs.
Label: Ignition Records

I just bought this CD and it contains 15 songs (and it is of course not Lunar Eclipse):
1. Awakening
2. In These Arms
3. It's a Long Road
4. On A Full Moon
5. April
6. Kissed by an Angel
7. Endless Horizon [A Dedication to Horowitz]
8. Lullaby for Two Moons
9. Interlude
10. Midnight Voodoo
11. Room Full of Blues
12. Hear Our Prayer
13. Summer of Dreams
14. Up the River
15. Netherworld Waltz

This one song is added in comparison to all the descriptions.
On A Full Moon appears also on Lunar Eclipse from 2000, but I don't know if it was recorded in 2000, or earlier for On A Full Moon?

As to the CD I received,
On the thin back of the cover there is a title and only a number: 720907-2001-2. No label as it usually is. Don't know if this part 2001 has anything to do with the year?

At the back of the cover the label is
ID
Ignition Distribution

And on the disc itself, the label is:
ID
Ignition Distribution
1994 Moon Junction Music

1994?

Does anyone know if there were 2 editions of On A Full Moon or just maybe the descriptions of this CD on many sites are just wrong?

Thanx in advance

According to this site, that's a Japanese version, and is indeed from 1994:

Thanks for the link!

So may I suppose there are indeed at least two editions of this CD, one with 14 tracks and one with 15? And the Japanesse one came out a year earlier?

The Japanese version has an instrumental version of In These Arms. The other editions have a vocal version. The insturmental is beautiful.

Becky, do you mean that there is On A Full Moon with vocal version of In These Arms (this 15-track japanesse CD) and there is a version without vocals (14-track?)?

I know that the vocal version is on the Lunar Eclipse, but don't know about On A Full Moon.

There's a Japanese version of On a Full Moon with an instrumental version. There's a version of On a Full Moon that was released in Canada that has a vocal version. I have the Japanese version. My roommate ordered a Canadian version that came out later. It shocked the hell out of us when she put her CD in the player one day and Dave started singing. The tracklisting is the same for both CDs. The tracks of In These Arms are different.

OK, I see. Thank you!

You just never really know what you'll get when ordering via internet I expected a 14-track version from 1995 and got 15 tracks from 1994.

Thanks for the help!

So this may be the answer to my question - there is more than just one version. At least there are two versions of the 15-track edition. WOnder if there is a 14-track one.

We have the same tracks but in different order. I haven't listened to it yet, so I don't know which version of In These Arms it is. I'll post as soon as I listen to it.

Depends on how you look at it, I think it was recorded mainly in 1994 (except the Netherworld Waltz) but the CD you got is manufactured in 1995 (if I'm not wrong) in the USA, only the disc is printed as 1994, the back cover has a (C) 1995... and was released on september 5th 1995 according to Amazon.
The Japanese with the instrumental version of In These Arms is the one from 1994

Those are the only two editions that I know of and I don't believe there was ever an edition with only 14 tracks, even if the tracklisting on amazon only contains 14.
