Default A Question for long time fans

I was listening to the radio the other day and was surprised to hear "Bed Of Roses" played. The only songs that got radio play that I've heard were Bad Name, Prayer, Wanted, Bad Medicine, IBTFY, It's My Life, WSYCGH and Make a memory. But what I'm really curious about is if any other songs off KTF and These days got any radio play or attention when they were released as singles. Like I listen to These Days alot, but any person that knew Bon Jovi for there hits wouldn't know any songs from These days. I'm just wondering if it was ever a "popular" record.... or that the These Days Tour followed off the success of "Always".... because even though the song did fairly well, I don't know anyone who actually would go to the store to pick it up, read the songs off the list and think "Man, I remember that song..." What I'm really trying to get at here is: Was any singles from Keep The Faith or These Days ever successful? (With the exception of BOR)

I'm assuming you're asking about the US?
Obviously I'm not THAT big of a longtime fan, but I can tell you that a lot of people I know who don't know jack about the band know both Always and BoR as well as the songs you mentioned. And FTR, TAALS was a Top 20 hit when it was released.

Yeah, "Keep The Faith" and "This Ain's A Love Song" were quite popular I think.

Here in the UK I certainly heard all the singles from KTF and TD on the radio or saw them on MTV; in fact it was hearing In These Arms on Radio 1 that turned me into the Bon Joviaholic I am today....

A fair few people I know who arent crazed Bon Jovi fans know In These Arms. Id say that one and Keep The Faith would be the more popular ones that the general music fan would know (apart from Bed Of Roses of course).

My mum once told me she stole my copy of These Days and put it in the car for work (Once they go into her car they never come out in one piece, seriously) but she kept the song These Days on repeat until eventually she turned the CD off, but then she heard the song playing again even though she swore she turned it off so she wondered what the hell was up with her stereo.

Then she realised it was on the radio station.

So um...These Days has been played at least once.

I remember when I was a kid This Ain't A Love Song being played on music channels a lot. The same with Keep The Faith. Those are the two videos I remember watching from those two albums. It's hard to remember clearly because I was so young. But, I definitely remember those two being on music channels a lot, as well as Always. Those were the three songs that seemed to be most popular then, from what I can remember.

Okay, I guess I got shit for radio stations here. I've heard WSYCGH and Memory on the country station my mom listens to and all the rest on the other radio station, but I can't recall ever hearing anything from KTF or These Days except BOR just a few days ago.... I was just a little curious, because all my friends who "sort of" like Bon jovi only have Bad Name, Prayer, Bad Medicine and the occasional It's My Life.... and not hearing anything on the radio station just made me curious...

Well, most of the singles were only ever played when the respective albums came out - mostly here in the UK it's Prayer you'll hear, occcasionally Bad Name. Though recently I did hear Something For The Pain - I was shocked.
