Default Santa fe Live?

having just watched young guns 2 (Great film) i understand jons solo album much more and the lyrics make more sense so im starting to really enjoy it, i was wondering if santa fe was ever played live, im guessing not as it has some pretty tricky sounding vocals. Would be cool if they played billy get your guns nowadays unlikeley though.

I'd love to hear this live, but can't see it happening myself

I actually dont think anything else has been played live except Blood Money, Blaze of Glory and a few promo outtings for Billy get your guns. Possibly Miracle, but I have never heard a live version of this song. And I have heard a few acoustic radio performances of Never say die.

Safe to say that Santa fe and, sadly, his next best song Dyin aint much of a Livin, will never be heard live again. At least sung in the original way...lets not rule out an acoustic version or *shudders* TLFR version.

Santa Fe vocals would kill him off for good, and we don't want that now do we?

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

nope we definatly dont want to do that, i reckon he could pull off billy get your guns its a great fun song, he played it during his da tour. I think he could do dyin aint much of a living does anyone else get a sense of right side of wrong from the pre chorus. maybe Jon reused parts. Also i cant help thinking boys are back in town in the intor of never say die. Really dont know why i havent listened to this album before it is really good.

Aloha !

Blaze Of Glory, Blood Money & Never Say Die have all been done live by the band. Billy Get Your Guns was only done by the Big Dogs, Jon's solo band for the Destination Anywhere tour.

Jon was once asked to play Miracle for a fan who told him during a Q&A session that the song kept her faith while she was getting chemo therapy for cancer or something like that. Jon admitted that he couldn't remember the lyrics or chords at all, did an attempt to play it but failed. It was the only time Jon played the song live.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I too have really got into the album recently. Dying Ain't Much Of A Living is a great song lyrically. Live though I'd definatly like to hear Billy Get Your Guns, would provide a fun and refreshing part to a setlist. Good lively tune.

Jon's solo work is fantastic. Blood Money is a great song, would love to see that live.

It was even better than I hoped it would be, Rob. I was lucky enough to hear it twice since it resurfaced in Philadelphia. I hope they keep doing it in Europe. You guys will love it!
