Default Classic Rock, top 50/100 rock albums

Have you read the latest Classic Rock magazine? The one with Steve Tyler on the cover?
Anyways, there is a top 50 of the rock music critics best albums. The top 10 is;
1. Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV
2, Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon
3, Black Sabbath - Paranoid
4, AC/DC - Black In Black, Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
6, Guns N' Roses - Appetite For Destruction
7, Metalica - Metalica
8, Nirvana - Nevermind
9, Bon Jovi - Slippery When Wet
10. Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland

Then there is a top 100 of the readers of Classic Rock, Metal Hammer and shopers at HMV record store, choice.
Unfortunatly there is only 1 BJ album in there and that's Slippery at number 23!
Number 1 is GN'R - Appetite For Destruction. But the albums in the top ten are groups like System Of A Down (#3), Tool (#7) and Korn (#10)

Just to let you all know!

Thanks for the info. That's interesting that SWW ranked so high. Was it a reader's choice or critic's choice thing?

The critics choice was the SWW #9
THe readers choice was the SWW #23 (which was 1 below Van Halen's self-titled album)

I thought the chart with Slippery at ninth was last years chart. They were just showing this for comparison to this years.

If Van Halen 1 isn't in top 5, the list is worthless.

I just saw th Rolling Stone Readers Poll and it had SWW at 86th!! It was also the only Bon Jovi album in the 100. What a load of B.S.

Yes, but I think that that won't have changed much even if the music critics had done the chart again!

That is so ridiculous.

But I guess it's cool that the CRITICS put SWW at #9. I thought critics weren't allowed to like Bon Jovi.

you know, when people were talking about this, I was 10 years old, and probably hadn't even heard of Bon Jovi... I was in grade 4/5!

I think SWW is over rated. New Jersey should have been there instead.
