Mine is going to explode if I hear Jon saying again "Why should I? Because we can".

Bryan: There's really no duking out. Jon really is out there singing it, so he comes up with a set list. We have a master list of how many songs that we have (but) he comes up with the list. When we get to the show, we get handed the list and there you go.

I guess we're not the only ones that aren't happy with the setlists.

If I disagree with something and I must do it, at least I'll try to get out clean. He stated in a reply 3 times that only Jon comes with the setlist, not one, not two, three. If he doesn't disagree, at least he wanted to say "i got nothing to do with what we're playing".

Have to agree, it doesn't sound like a band at all. Like a "Jon Bon Jovi" solo concert and the other band members simply do what they're told.

I guess I'm reading it totally differently. He makes the setlist, he gives them the setlist, they play the setlist. A lot of bands have a member who make the setlists and that's their "thing". Sav in Def Leppard, John-Angus of the Trews for instance. It doesn't mean the other members are unhappy about it. I just didn't see any between the line reading with what Dave said.

No i agree with you, Dave is just stating fact. Jon makes the set list end of story.

Agree with you here. I don't think there is any hidden agenda but just David stating that Jon writes the set list. When you add in the extra quote, where he goes on to say:

And then there's extra ones on the side that he'll call, so we're always ready. We never do the same set twice.

That doesn't sound like he is unhappy with the setlist, just that Jon writes it.

I don't think there's any hidden agenda or unhappiness. I think (if anything) David is saying that since Jon is the singer, he makes the set, and that the band is ready to play it.
