Default jon duets

hey. I'm new here on this group. And I love the band jon especially. I also like the new album a lot. But it would have been nice to see him deting with people. i like that song he did with big and rich. jon also sang well with leanne rimes and jennifer nettles. I hope he does duets on their new album. who do you think he'd collaborate well with? Taylor swift would be a good person to sing a duet with. Maybe even john mayer. let me know who you would like to see jon and the boys team up with.

Welcome to the board. My dream duet already happened--Jon and Keith Urban. You can probably find it on YouTube, but it's a shame it never got an official release. I'd love to hear him sing with Melissa Etheridge.

I thought Alicia Keys was meant to be on this new album, read that last year online somewhere..wonder what happened to that idea, as I am a big fan. Got excited when I heard her name mentioned playing on Richies charity version of ''Walk beside you'', but she doesn't sing on that track.

Male/Male duets I find a bit weird, depending on subject matter. Plus I like the voices to be very different and on opposite ends of the spectrum, so prefer male/female. Taylor Swift could actually be a good shout, as they have both openly stated that they appreciate eachothers music. But Def Leppard got there first with that CMT Crossroads show, duetting on all their songs.

I'd love a Taylor Swift/Bon Jovi duet. A nice ballad like Till We Ain't Strangers Anymore.

Yeah I was wondering this also, the rumour was going round to the point that I thought it was actually going to happen, and would have done more comercially for Bon Jovi than Because We Can did by piggybacking on the Girl On Fire promo. Whether it would have been any better or worse than what's on the album I don't know, and plenty of fans would shudder at the thought of the duet, but it would definitely have been more relevant to a hit.
