Default What music magazine?

I was in tesco earlier doing the shopping and starting looking at classic rock and Q magazine but i had my kido and did not get a proper look. can anyone suggest which one of these magazines (or another mag) would be best to subscribe to for someone like me who is in to jovi, straits, eagles, etc?

more to the point a magazine that actually gives jovi a mention every now and then too?

was round at my sister-in-laws today also and noticed this special edition U2 magazine? what is that about and i was just thinking while looking at it that there would never be anything like his for jovi!

are they not supposed to be the most consistent and biggest money making machine in music???

Classic Rock imo. Covers all of the bands you mentioned.

Whereas Q will occasionally have something on Jovi etc, but not much. Q is aimed much more towards 'current' bands.

2000: Crush + Tour + DVD
2001: One wild Night + Tokyo Road + Tour
2002: Bounce + That target disc or whatever + Tour
2003: This left feels right + DVD
2004: 100.000.000 fans can't be wrong
2005: Have a nice day + Tour
2007: Lost Highway + Tour
2009: Greatest Hits + Book + DVD
2010: New album

And what did I forget?

As a side-note,

Compared it to the 90's, I rather choose quality over quantity......

Classic Rock would be the best option.

Q goes through editors like babies go through nappies and alot of them turn their noses up to the band, though in the 90's Bon Jovi featured a lot.

It's a shame what became of Kerrang! That use to be a decent read.

i buy Q every month, but as its been said the band are rarely mentioned (maybe one big artivle a year or so) but i like it for its broad coverage of music. Classic Rock is a pretty good read but does feature a lot of crappy articles

Classic Rock does probably cover your spectrum best, but it's a bloody awfully written magazine

Not bought CR for about 2 years cause I got sick of them brown nosing LED ZEP every issue. There were no new articles just recycled ones from other publications and album reviews were a month behind. Youre much better going online (melodic rock.com for instance) for up to date news and reviews.
