Not sure if this has been posted already. It talks about the whole deal with the WWBTF solo and how youtube had a lot to do with the last minute addition of a guitar solo to the song.

This was cool to watch. I'm still in shock enough of an uproar was caused to get Richie to put a solo in.

it was alot more creative and inventive. Richie's just sometimes seems as if it's fast to impress or something, the ending lick of the solo is taken right out of the second any other day solo, which was taken right out of the these days solo....
