How about buying them instead of stealing ? Do you steal your food from the supermarket as well?

I am just getting sick of lame excuses for stealing. Do you say to your supermarket ceo - "up to now I paid for every vegetable of your store this time I am gonna take it for free"?? Illegal stays illegal.

More over: Two friends of mine got mail from big lawyer firms for downloading (illegally) an album of a famous german band. They only downloaded one album and they had to pay a fee of 3.500 Euros. They went to their lawyer and he said there was no chance doing sth against it. I usually dl live stuff (audio and video) but never official stuff. Big names like U2 or Springsteen even allow trading live stuff.

In that case you didn't buy all the stuff as Walk Like A Man has been officially released, as has These Open Arms, which is why some people are dead against downloading. There's also been a time when I bought all the releases, but now that I've stopped doing so I'm nog going to beg over a specific song either. My theory is that I've got the choice; I can buy the CD from eBay or I can just let it be. Downloading the song is not an option for me. If someone sends it to me I'll appreciate it, but I'm not going to ask for options on how to get my hands on it for free just because I can't be ****ed to buy it myself.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

so you have never borrowed a mates cd and burnt it to your pc then? i don't believe you. You never had "the circle " 2 weeks before its release, i did but i still went to the shop to buy it. All these bands that leak stuff, and they do do it,do they not think folk will copy it, of course they don't. Is not that much of a issue, as kids you would borrow your mates tape and copy it, nothings changed. If the record companies were that fussed about they could easily close all these torrents down
