A song charting in the Billboard Hot 100? Probably.

A song as successful as Livin' on a Prayer, Always or It's My Life? Never.

The new singles are doing worse and worse. I think they should take a break, fans are tired.

Best regards,
the Sexx

Yep, This Ain't Love is blatantly the next This Ain't A Love Song... That was a moderate hit.

It's possible, look at Aerosmith. They had the biggest hit of their careers long after their big hit heyday.

As long as it's truly special and has a bit of backing it can happen.

They need to get Desmond Child and forget about trendy stuff (crap like Creed-ish influence in Bounce, U2/Coldplay-ish influence in The Circle) - then it might happen.

Hit? Probably.
Career and legacy defining hit on the highest level that LOAP, YGLABN, WDOA, Always, and IML have? No.

well, like Becky said, never say never. In a sense I don't think too many people were expecting IML to be as massive as it was. It has to be something different though, and the band seem to have gotten in a very comfortable place songwriting wise since Crush (which was the last album to feature a few so called risks). i wouldn't pretend to know what they need to do in order to have one, but they do need to do something different than what they are doing now which is basically just rellying on their name and its drawing power.

I think Bon Jovi are finished to be honest. Certainly as a creative band. There will always be a demand to see them live as they still put on a great show, but as a band they've been going in the wrong direction for nearly a decade now. I agree with Sexx, it's time for a break. Maybe release GH2 and have another tour then call it day. Do some solo stuff and then maybe get back together in 5 years for another tour. I've been dying to hear some new Richie/Jon solo stuff for a while.
