Default Bon Jovi song for tribute video

Hi All,
My wifes good friend Cathy has passed away after a long battle with cancer. She was a massive Bon Jovi fan! Recently she had tickets to two consecutive Bon Jovi concerts in Melbourne Australia at a cost of $300 each. Sadly she missed them both due to her illness.
I am starting to make a tribute video/photo show of Cathy and I would like to have some Bon Jovi songs as the background soundtrack. I would really appreciate any suggestions you have as to which songs to use. Thank you so much for your help.
Andrew

That's quite sad. I would suggest (It's Hard) Letting You Go. Never Say Goodbye would be the painfully obvious choice, but it seems too loud. Maybe an acoustic live version would be suiting.

I am deeply sorry ! Very sad to hear

Well, Letting You Go is a good song for this purpose. Other ones I think is good for this is

Seat Next To You
Kidnap An Angel
Miss 4th of July
Maybe Someday
The Answer (Richie Sambora)
Undiscovered Soul (Richie Sambora)
Harlem Rain - Maybe (Richie Sambora)

The lyrics of those songs I think can relate to this suject. Listen and see what you think

I'm very sorry for your wife's loss. What a very sad story.

As far as the tribute goes, I think some excellent suggestions have been made. Just a thought, though. Depending on how this is going to be used, you might not have to limit your choice to a sad song. Your wife probably knows which Jovi songs were Cathy's favorites. One of those might make a good choice. The tribute might celebrate her life rather than mourn her death.

One other song came to my mind. This isn't actually a Jovi song, but Jon did it at the famous Hammersmith Odeon show on the New Jersey tour, and it's a B-side on the Miracle single - Goin' Back. The song was written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King and was recorded by many different artists.

Thank you people so much for your help. The video I'm doing is just for a few close friends to remember their friend by. I'll definitely be able to do something with your suggestions. Milomum, I think I'll mix it up a bit - happy and sad.

I'm so sorry about your wife's loss... Cancer really is something I hope they'll find a cure for, sometime in the near futher. :/

As all the good Bon Jovi songs for your beautiful video have been mentioned, I thought I mention two songs, that helped me thru those rough times, both are about, just, cancer

Juke Kartel - Brightest Star

Simple Plan - Save You

Rest In Peace
the title fits but lyrically the song is about something different.

I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
this may fit on some occasion, better to release the pain than to take it seriously.

I feel sorry....
