Unhappy X Factor performance - anyone else disappointed??!

So the boys were on the X factor tonight, presumably to promote their album thats out tomorrow in the UK. So I would have thought (and heard) that they would have performed What Do You Got as this is ment to be the promotional single/anthem for this album, but no they perform Livin On a Prayer, and a broadly average performance at that - then turned in to a massive sing a long performance with the contestants!! (OK maybe a bit jealous there but lol) But seriously has Jon forgotton the lyrics to Last man standing?! I always thot he was against these sort of TV talent shows; I guess not as he done American Idol and X factor last year.....I guess when your getting paid enough money you will do anything!! Not that they actually need to money after what they charged last year at the O2 and indeed next years concerts but hey....
well thats jus my opinion anyway!!

We all know in our heart of hearts that Jon is a whore.

The Last Man Standing and Work For The Working Man are the most contrived songs he's ever written.

Tonight was terrible, but I expected that.

sorry guys, disagree. Thought this was better than last years WWBTF performance. Jon was singing (one thing more than that witch Cheryl did last week), if they had sung WDYG the audience would have sat and listened and that was it. They are promoting their greatest hits.............their greatest hit is Prayer so this was what should have been performed to remind everyone of the good hits on the album.

whether the contestants should have sang along too......open to debate, they didnt wreck it and thankfully didnt sing much of it. May act as a positive. I certainly hope the people remember Cheryl's lack of professionalism with miming last week and her reaction towards JK after his song tonight!!

i thought Jon couldn't sing the high note well and that sing along was kind of stupid.

I thought it was a great performance. However Like you I thought they should have sung on their own. Mind you if you notice they turned off the mics for the contestants

Jon mimed the verses.

It was embarrasing.

It was good performance. Better than WWBTF last year. Jon sounds good and I like the idea with all this singing people.

Drunken karaoke anyone?! We've all been there! Not sure if Richie was miming the solo, if he was it must have been recorded earlier in the day at the studio as there's not a version of the guitar part he played recorded officially anywhere. The contestants bit was a little embarrassing, not sure how much of a say Jon had in that...but still was good fun and must have been amazing for them!

Their performance was fine it was a shame they had to have the contestants sing along with them. I think Simon Cowell must have talked them into doing it as I was also expecting them to sing their new song.
