Sorry that i have to write this message here.

I have read an article in a dutch magazine called "Hitkrant" from somewhere in 1998. Which says Richie has got an cocaïne addiction.

I quote the magazine here:

" Richie is at home a very quiet person, but when he is on tour with Bon Jovi he turns to be a other person". " He uses cocaïne and booze all the time". This message comes from an old girlfriend of Richie, i don`t know if it is true. What do you think about it??

I hope this isn`t true.

This rubbish comes from Ally Sheedy. She dated Richie once and for a few years now she blames him for her drug addiction.

It's just strange that she starts with this now or just a few years back, more than 10 years after they split up. She propably needs some movie roles and wants to stand in the press again, that's all.

Richie said once that he just feels sorry for her but didn't say very much about what she said. She was already addicted to drugs before they dated.

Its quite likely that in the 80s this was true, its what rock bands did..doesnt make them bad

Yeah, in the 70's and 80's, many rock groups experimented with drugs. But it isn't at all acceptable to have anything to do with drugs.
I still think that this isn't true though, the women was probably running out of cash or something, so she had to make something like this up so she could sell the story. If Richie knew about this do you think he would have said something?
