I have no doubt that it will become a hit. Why? Well first of all. The single isn't released yet, and radioplay are to 99% based on single sales. Second, the video has also just been released, and that is also based on single sales. so wait until the single is out, then you're going to see one big sky rocket!!

I don't care...if it's a hit, it's cool that BJ made it to the top again. If not, we at least won't see all the teenage girls who have banners that say "I Love You Jon" or "Marry me Richie" or whatever on the concerts anymore I'll buy the single anyway and if people don't like the song they don't have to buy it.

any teenage girls round here? I think so...well, don't feel offended in any way. I know that (most) people on this board are serious and know what they talk about.

To sum it up:I think the chance that Everyday becomes real BIG is pretty good. And for the band it's also nice to have #1 or at least Top 10 hits. But we'll see...

ktf, Johannes

I just heard it today on a hard rock station in Philly (WMMR) that did not play the stuff from Crush. To me that is a great sign- I think rock radio support is important this time around. I think it will have a slow build in the States but come Times Square and the video premiere that month it will peak just in time for the album release.

I think it also depends on which country you talk about as well.

Say, there are a number of countries 'represented' by people on this board. When Everyday is released, we should all give progress reports on how the single is doing in each country, then we could do it for Bounce soon after too. That'd be cool as!

Fredrik is absolutely right. The massive-play will start in two weeks i guess. Mercury don't want the people to get sick of the song... isn't that imposible? : )

I think more stations in the States will pick it up when it hits VH-1. My Top 40 station basically plays whatever is on VH-1.

In my opinion Everyday will be a hit , not like IML, but a big hit.
Here in Brazil, the song isnīt on the radio statios yet, cause the singles arenīt release here, only the full album, so I think that in September, Everyday will rock here...Iīm waiting for it

I think it all depends.
I think some bj fans who don't listen to a lot of bj but still listen to a little bit may not get into it as much, because its a new style that they have to adjust to. I played it to one of these types of ppl and he didn't like it much.
However i think the new style will create some new bon jovi fans and will hopefully make it a hit.
Personally I love the song, i think it is one of bon jovi's best, and lets just hope it takes the charts by storm!!!
