Default Set List Gettin Predictable?

Not sure if its just me but does anyone think the songs are getting very predictable? No big criticism of the band or anything its just when i go to the gigs nowadays i can predict nearly every part of the songs ie In prayer at the end where crowd participation comes in,Bad Medicine when Shout comes in, You give love a bad name where more participation comes in at the end etc.Guess its expected but its makes the songs when they are played very boring, for me anyway.

Hi

Yep, I think it would be good to see a little bit more, um, imagination? It's nice to get the old faves in and to know all the words and knowing exactly what's coming next but....

It reminds me of a comedian we have round here called Richard Digence. He tells jokes and plays the guitar. He's been kicking about since the 70s and his jokes don't change, and the songs are all the same, and it's the same routine every gig, all the audience know the jokes, but we all enjoy it. It's the way he tells them.

Maybe thats why we don't mind it being predictable. Well, I don't think we mind, do we?

Hark at me rambling on....

In a word yes. Judging by the setlists for this tour, they dont seem to be changing it as much as they have done for previous tours. But like letitrock says, lets wait for Europe and see what happens

Ok, yeah they are predictable and it would be nice to hear some songs that don't get played live often/at all, i.e, Homebound Train, If I Was Your Mother, Stick To Your Guns. But really, if what they choose is played with quality and passion then I'm not bothered how the setlist is planned.
