older versions are better yes - but i was happy to see it in the setlists again full stop

wrong - for the 1988 leg up till about XMAS - stopped after that

but certainly not the 1st time ever...

i remember him saying they'd rehearsed "on the edge of a broken heart" for the tour in 2001

Yep,it was my mistake-NJ tour was pretty long,but every single show from the beginning of NJ tour at RDS, Dublin 'till the Munich's show on
19.12 has Homebound in the setlist!!!!!!!!

Well i remember hearing him say "for the first time ever, here's the acoustic version of born to be my baby" in the yokohama acoustic 2003 bootleg. But i've seen him perform the same version on video back in early 90s?
