Default Does anyone know..?

I have seen a picture of Jon with a banjo, but does anyone know if he can actually play it???

Could be fun with a little banjo on a BJ album - or maybe not..?

It's probably from TFI Friday when Chris Evans had a bit where he gave Jon a guitar to ask how he would go about checking one out to buy it. Then he handed him a banjo and Jon said, "I'm Jon BANJOvi" and that he would play what everyone else played on the banjo and started playing "Dueling Banjos." It wasn't perfect, but it ws recognizable. Then Chris gave him a eukelale and asked him to play "Smoke on the Water." Jon said that he wasn't sure how to play one, but he gave it a shot and you could recognize that he was playing Smoke on the Water.

I assume since Jon was playing recognizable songs that he can play the instruments with a little practice.

Jon can play anything you give him. Nothing is too hard for him. Give Jon a rubber band and he could fashion it into a musical instrument and play the whole of Dry County on it (including drum, bass and keyboard parts).

Do you have a point other than just being a predictably sarcastic jerk? It's the same family of musical instruments. Basic principles apply. If you know how to play a guitar, you can take that knowledge and more easily pick up on how to play a mandolin, banjo, sitar, bass guitar, etc.

He should have given him a fiddle.

I remember reading a review of New Jersey that mentioned that Jon was getting down on the "harp" for harmonica. But it brought to mind the amusing image of Jon playing an actual harp.
