Default Why are Bon Jovi fans greedy?

In some fan circles, bootlegs are circulated as a matter of honor. With Bon Jovi fans who record stuff, they have all kinds of stipulations like: I only want off-master soundboard quality for this piece of crap I'm going to send you; or I don't trade, I don't sell, I just want you to know I have this and you can't have it--give me your soul.

I wish the Bon Jovi community was more like the Bruce community.

I think we should revolt and start a trading community and beat the bootleggers at their own game.

I'm not really in the bootlegging business, but I see your point.

That's the way my collection started. In the last 15 years, I've bought about 10 video tapes and have a collection around 250. I've bought maybe 5 audio tapes and have a collection over 450. The way we used to do it was simply trading and I have friends whom whenever I get something, I send it to them and whenever they get something they send it to me. Our collections are the same, so we know if one of us has it the other doesn't.

So, I'm going to be getting some shows from this year soon. I was thinking maybe I can send them to 3 people and each of those three people will promise to pass them on to 3 more, etc.

Anyone interested in starting a Dry County Trading Community?

I like that idea. Kind of like a pay it forward only with our bootlegs. (no pun intended there, really.)
