lol ok... interesting discussion
I can't believe we're having this discussion...
ah it's nice for a change :P

Where do you have your , and ;, are they next to l?

I didn't even realise that there are such differences in the keyboard, I just thought that we had a few extra keys here...
but then it takes so much effort to make the '[' and ']' (as if I need those characters that much... well they do come out useful on Jovitalk sometimes).

I have the ',' next to the 'm' and the ';' next to the 'l'

^^ that's my keyboard

Jess should join in this very interesting discussion - she must've got another keyboard as well. I was on holiday in France a few years ago and sent an email back home from some internet cafe. But I couldn't be bothered to take a look at the keyboard while typing to find the right keys and since they're in another order in France as well, the email turned out pretty confusing with quite a few characters mixed up .

blahblahblah

I didn't realise there were so many differences... I was in Cyprus and the keyboard there was pretty similar to the Finnish one - except for the special characters...

Just for clarity, the Finnish one is:

q w e r t y u i o p å ¨
a s d f g h j k l ö ä '
< z x c v b n m , . -

When I was in Germany, the biggest problem was that z was in the place of y (and there are surprisingly many y's in Finnish) and when I finally learned it, it was so difficult to learn it again in Finland The other problem were of course ä and ö, I usually could find them in the keyboard but they might have looked different when the mail was sent to Finland.
