Web-friendly? Does it also list the web-enemy ones? :P

It's just simple hexadecimal codes, #RRGGBB you use number or letters 0-9 A-F to represent the ammount of colour you want

#FF0000

#00FF00

#0000FF

If I remember the first letter controls the brightness of the colour and the second controls the saturation (strength of colour)

No. Apparantly, the web-friendly ones have numbers that come in pairs and can only be 0, 3, 6, 9, c, and f. For example, #33cc66 would be web-friendly, but #123456 would not be.

I didn't know that. I knew about the RGB hexadecimal codes, though.

I guess it looks OK as letters and numbers, but in backgrounds it's supposed to look like different colors running together.
