dan as it is... its fixed... as it was.. it wasnt fixable because the bbcode managed to screw the link in such a way that it wouldnt disply or work properly... but then.. if you'd checked the testing board where id posted and asked for help, you would have known that.

oh I knew it was fixed, we have our own special topic about it hidden away, I just thought it was a pretty selfish comment to make really considering it was making the board virtually unreadable for some members

the comment may have sounded selfish but the fact was that everyone just said 'fix it' no one suggested how or why, and the post i made in the testing forum went unanswered for a fair while.

thats the last im going to say on it however as its taken the thread completely off topic now and there is nothing really left to say on the matter... i spend too long defending myself on this board as it is anyhow...

The testing forum is for you to do test posts for your benefit..not to actually expect people to go there and read and reply to your posts.

I did tell you how to fix it....because despite you blaming the board....the reason why it was screwed up was very clear to everyone else who knows how to use the BB coding properly, it showed in your posts. I didn't pursue it with you cuz you had gotten it fixed another way. Just because the buttons in the reply window didn't place the codes where you wanted doesn't mean you can't fix the code manually by typing the code correctly as I instructed you to.

Firstly, i read the instructions for the BB Code, knowing i'm not expert in any way with them, as i couldn't get the HTML to work.
Secondly, you told me to fix it by replacing the = with a ] which directly contravenes the instructions i read.
Thirdly, i fixed it as i had said to you, notthing to do with the code, but rather the bit in bold above. which had been mangled and should have read 0&currency_code.
Fourthly, Bleeding Purist, there was no need for the last response in the topic, specally after what i had said about this taking the thread off topic. A PM would have sufficed quite nicely.

Sara, believe it or not - people were actually trying to help you, which is quite enough, I think. BP PM'ed and Ice told you how to do it, which is what I replied with to your thread in the test forum. If no one replied to that before it's because people do get busy at times. Just calm down - it's fixed now so it's okay

Keeper... i know.. but as ive stated before.. the problem wasnt the code... itself.

as for it being fixed now... i did actually make that comment myself a few posts back saying that it was done with and i actually didnt want to coment regarding it anymore.... but then again whenever i say stuff like that it carries on... as has been said though.. its done with now. end of story.
