So no-one else fins large signature pictures annoying?

Don't you find it annoying when reading through a topic and there are perhaps 2 or 3 people discussing something, and 1 of them has a huge signature, which takes up most of the page...more than their message does.

I have an 800 x 600 monitor. If a signature looks small on that, I think it is plenty small enough for a signature. I'm not saying don't use large ones...do whatever you want. It just gets annoying, in my opinion, when they get too large.

you are saying that because you made a thread about it.

i'm not arguing, i just think the whole way you had cheap digs at people on the original thread without physically naming names is quite sad.

if it gets to you, ask the individuals to politely change their signature size.

I actually first posted about it in the Announcements and Queestions forum, but no-one ever goes there. I asked peter if he could put a dimensional limit on signatures.

I didn't ask individuals because there where quite a few people with large signatures at the time. I did it as a poll too if you remember, to see what others thought.

I never said anyone had to change their signtures, I just asked, and backed up by some others, if they would please resize it.

it was quite big, which is why i reduced the size. i just found the whole 'let's make a thread about it' thing a bit melodramatic.
