My Roadrunner is almost completely stock. In American terms it is 383 cubic inches and about 335 horsepower. Back in the seventies my husband and I rebuilt the original one with much higher performance parts: cylinders and camshaft. Unfortunately, that made it dificult to drive out on the street, it didn't want to idle at stoplights and I got a few tickets

So after a while, we returned it to a stock car - and we have left the new one alone too. I enjoy driving it - and there are so few places you can race anymore. I have considered taking this one down to Englishtown (which I'm sure you've heard of Brooke) but I have seen too many guys blow up their cars racing. I have gotten to the point that doing that is too expensive

- I just like driving the damn thing.
