Bon Jovi's First Live Album, 'One Wild Night,' Due May 22
Bon Jovi will release its first-ever live album, titled One Wild Night, on May 22. The set features live versions of the band's classics "Livin' On A Prayer," "Runaway," and "You Give Love A Bad Name," as well as newer hits like "It's My Life" and "One Wild Night."
One Wild Night is a 78-minute collection of Bon Jovi's best live performances from the last 15 years, and it was recorded on location in the U.S., Australia, Canada, Japan, Switzerland, South Africa, and the U.K. The band will also include two covers on the album, "Rockin' In The Free World" and "I Don't Like Mondays," the latter of which was recorded with its originator Bob Geldof at London's Wembley Stadium.
LAUNCH asked Bon Jovi songwriter-keyboard player David Bryan how the group has been able to remain at the top of its game after more than 17 years together: "It's the power of guys that are talented in a lot of different ways. You know, the talent pool is pretty deep in our band. It shows: For the live aspect, from writing songs, for making records, and being talented in so many different ways, and then all of us coming together. It's not just a bunch of guys who do the same thing. I think that's one of the reasons for the longevity."
