JBJ auctioning off a 15-minute private online chat
Ushering in a new era, perhaps, in celebrity-fan interaction, Jon Bon Jovi is auctioning off, via eBay, a private 15-minute Instant Messaging computer chat. The high bid was $1,025 at press time, and the auction closes tonight at 8:55. The session will occur between Nov. 15 and Dec. 15, at a time to be determined by Bon Jovi; he will provide preferred and alternate times to the winner. After the chat takes place, the winner will receive a transcript signed by Bon Jovi and a certificate of authenticity.
The Bon Jovi band also is auctioning off, through eBay, two front-row tickets for its Nov. 14 show at the Borgata in Atlantic City, plus lodging for Nov. 14 and 15 at the hotel. At press time, the high bid for the package was $6,500. Bidding ends at 10 tonight.
