hey what a great night again. I been to vienna, austria and it rocked like crazy and the munich show was no exception. This was my 10th BJ show and i never saw a bad one. Though Wembley 1995 is still my fave BJ concert the OWN shows came very close to that one. IMO they were far more relaxed and playin with more fun than on the crush tour. I think they r just proud to regain their success worldwide (including those longtime non- believers in the US of A!)so they had lots of fun playin. Highlights: Well too many to mention - they way the got on stage was great and name any band who is playin 45 min in the pouring rain. If that would have been Madonna or the backf*** boys they would ve stopped the show and left cause it might ruin their hair. the guys seemed to have fun in the rain - though it might have been kinda dangerous playin in a thunderstorm with lightning flashes all over the stadium. Though i personally don t think to see the guys before 2003 (although there are rumors already for a 2002 tour)i am lookin forward to seeing em again.
And hey: what you think of the ticket prices: Bon Jovi play 2,5 + hours for about 50 $ while those cash - ins like U2 or Madonna play 100 min maximum and charge lots more.
The only criticism i have is that they didn t play my fave song ever: In and out of love - am I the only one who wants to hear that again? So maybe sth to look forward to on the next tour.
The Stereophonics were one of the weakest support bands i ever seen. 3rd class Oasis copy - Gotthard rocked the house and should have played right b4 BJ as they did in Vienna!) Those lame Stereophonics ruined the party feeling that Gotthard created.
