Size Doesn't Matter...
Prior to last night's show, Bon Jovi was at the top of my "bands I must see before I die" list. What energy! And, what a great location. Mohegan Sun only holds about 8,500 people for concerts like this, and that's why ticket prices are basically doubled, but the venue was great. Jon even said, "We haven't played somewhere this small in a long time!" But, the size didn't matter. They rocked as if it were a 60,000 seat stadium. And, those of us in New England were glad to hear him say they are adding dates at Gillette Stadium this summer, too. The set list (I didn't write it down, sorry!), was shorter than the other shows on the tour. We didn't get Wild in the Streets, Bed of Roses, Keep the Faith or Right Side of Wrong. But, that really didn't matter...the house rocked from start to finish. They truly are rock stars. Goo Goo Dolls as the opener were ok. I've seen them twice this year at the area's other casino and they were better then they were last night. See you at Gillette Stadium!
