Canīt get any better - EVER!
Anybody out there in Jovi-Land who hasnīt been to Munich - shoot yourself!
Iīve seen the guys 35 times since 1988, I thought 1988/1989 Munich was great, I thought 1993 Mannheim was incredible, I thought 1995 Munich was awesome, I thought 1995 Camden, New Jersey was Killer, I thought 1996 Cologne and Mannheim were untoppable - until yesterday.
After the "disappointing" experience in Gelsenkirchen 2 weeks ago, the Band showed, that Springsteen is nobody and the Stones can finally go to their funeral. I have NEVER EVER seen Jon in such an incredible mood, never seen the Band being SO ON FIRE like theyīve been yesterday. He was talking like in early years, smiling all the time, making the funniest Band introduction since AGES, and made a setlist for that night that couldnīt be more perfect. Sure DRY COUNTY or WILD IS THE WIND would have been incredible, but if the Guys do a 3 Hour and 10 Minute set I WONT EVER COMPLAIN. Iīve seen people crying of joy when they startet DIAMOND RING ( unbelivibale Version ) and SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN - at least they remember that great THESE DAYS Album, and when they closed the show 30 Minutes past Venue Curfew ( must have been really expensive ) with THESE DAYS and TWIST AND SHOUT I knew once again: AIN`T NO BETTER BAND than these fine, five Guys from Jersey that made me after 35 BJ Shows and over 220 Concerts at all see, that they ARE, WERE, AND WILL BE THE BEST - FOREVER!
Cheers,
JK
