17 June 2003 - Kiel, Germany Concert Review 18 June 2003
Nothing of the kind

A review by Firebird / firebird2511@gmx.de

Since I've been a Bon Jovi fan for over one decade it really is a shame that Kiel 2003 was my very first visit to a concert of this terrific band. Thus I have no comparison but I think I can safely say that this show was absolutely awesome and unique. Has there ever been two concerts in one before? Well, I don't know, but if yes then not very often.
At first the band began with some great accoustic versions and then Jon said,"now we gotta break some guitars", which initiated the "rocky" part of this great show.
And take a look at the setlist. These non-frequently performed songs like e.g. Diamond Ring or Love for Sale were a big surprise and very pleasent for myself and many others.
Well, Jon, Richie, Tico, David and Hugh, thank you so much for this unique night. Now I can safely say that I have been to a very very special concert and not only one out of many.
Gruß an alle, die da waren
Bye
