17 again...at least for a couple of hours
If it weren't for the highlights in my hair to cover the gray and the lack of shoulder pads, I would have sworn that last night I was 17 again! I highly recommend this show for anyone (especially girls, I swear that Jon sang Never say goodbye to me) facing those mid 30's duldrums.
The transition from acoustic to full out rock was totally awesome. And I must say that the acoustic version of Living on a Prayer has, in my opinion, outdone an already untouchable classic.
I was on my feet the entire show and wished upon hope that the night would never end. Even my husband who reluctantly attended with me said it was the coolest show he had ever been too and danced, sang and occasionally screamed right alongside me.
Bon Jovi has reminded exactly what the thrill of attending a concert is, never in my life have I been happier to have a sore throat and hoarse voice, well there was that concert in 1986.
