I've been to the concert in Mannheim,too. It was my second Bon Jovi concert, but much better and not to compare with the first one I visited in Munich 2001.

The atmosphere was much better as Mannheim is just one big area and all people are standing there together. In Munich I was standing on the stand in the stadium and not in the middle of a big crowd that was moving with the songs.
I arrived at about 6:30 p.m. together with my parents who spend the whole time of concert in front of the Maimarktgelaende waiting for me and afterwards telling me stories about the guys that resold tickets they bought from others.

The price for t-shirts was horrible and standing in the heat and waiting for the band was really sweatening but better than standing in the rain like on the ohter open airs I allready visited (Bon Jovi: Munich, 2001; U2: Mannheim, 1997). But when Bon Jovi started the show everything else was forgotten and we (all) celebrated till the end!!! And thank you to Bon Jovi that they played the great encores althoght there were allready more than 250 complaints from Mannheims inhabitants that live close to the Maimarktgelaende!!! Thanx.
