AWESOME!
One word to describe Wednesday night and that is AWESOME!This was concert number five for me and without a doubt the best one I've ever seen (and that's compared to Wembley 95 - something I never thought that I'd be able to say!)
Nickleback were great in the hot sun, a fitting support act to the greatest band on this planet. The crowd were really up for it and Nickleback really got us going, loads of stuff from Silver Side up - nice one guys!!
Bon Jovi took to the stage at 7.45 pm and left every person at the Ricoh Arena totally dumbstruck! WOW is all that I can say! From beginning to end, Jovi rocked and proved why they are giving the likes of U2 a good run for their money. Total quality performance guys, and playing for just under three hours is something that's not seen from any band these days - Jon was full of stamina and the performance was significantly better than previous shows because of this.
Massive singalongs ensued when the band played Living On a Prayer and Blood On Blood (HOW lucky were we in Coventry?!!!!).
Ending with These Days and Treat Her Right brought to an end the greatest concert I've seen in years. Introducing These Days, Jon thanked the crowd for being his friend for the last twenty five years and the crowd responded by going totally nuts!!
There were many, many other highlights throughout, the stage set being a major one. Jon appearing in the crowd for the first number, Last Man Standing was also amazing - well thought out and great for photo taking opportunites!.
Thank you Bon Jovi for a great night! The Leicester Bon Jovi fanclub will definetely be going to concert number six next time around!!
