sweaty
The show was awesome. Bounce as part of the encore was a pleasant surprise. In reviewing past setlists, while they place it a little on the European leg of the tour, they had only played in once or twice in the states. Plus, the encore was longer in general than they had been playing.
I saw them at Wachovia Center in Philly and Boardwalk hall in Atlantic City too. I think the sound quality was a little better in each.
Plus, the Citizens Bank park set up could have been better. They did not let fans sit on what would have been the infield of the baseball diamond. So, if you did not have a floor seat, you seemed pretty far away. We were behind home plate and the Phillies did not remove the netting that surrounds home plate. So we had to view the entire show through the netting. A better set up would have been to put the stage behind second base with floor seats on the sides of the stage. That would have brought the rest of the crowd closer. They also started too early. We thought they would take the stage at 9PM. Instead, they took the stage at 8PM. It was still light out. The stage looked better once it was completely dark.
Plus it was hot as hell. It was very humid. I think the whole place was one big sweatfest. I seldom ever sweat and I sweated through my tanktop and was soaked by the end of the show.
