27 July 2006 - Boston, MA, USA Concert Review |

As always, bon jovi wasted no time in seducing his audience and we loved every minute of it. Thank God for the big screen - otherwise, the side of the stadium we were on might as well have been out in the parking lot. The sound was horrendous. Maybe the wind, nearly nonexistent on the ground, but whipping wildly on the higher levels, blew the sound to other side of the stadium. We couldn't even tell what song he was doing unless you could read his lips on the screen or hear the audience on the ground singing a chorus. It wasn't until the last 1/4 of the show that we could pick out a song with the first first few notes. He must have wondered why half the crowd just sat there looking at him. Wish he'd have ended with something a little more popular than Blood on Blood - the last song of the night should be a megahit. Loved the stage setup and ramp and watching him work the crowd was worth the price of admission. Just wish we could have heard the show! |
