2 May 2001 - Dallas, TX, USA Concert Review 4 May 2001
No Words Could Explain

A review by Eric / LilRichieS@aol.com

What can I say? Two days after, the details of the concert start surfacing. Only reinforcing that Bon Jovi is the Greatest Band on the Earth! I first saw Bon Jovi on April 15th of 1989 in Lubbock, TX. In no way has the band lost any momentum, excitement, or love for their fans.
I could only think of one song that I would have liked to have heard...Never Say Goodbye. But, they rarely do that one in concert. I was very awe-stricken by Jon's willingness to still hit that high notes in Prayer and I'll Be There For You. Very Exciting! I'm a huge Richie fan, and to be within a few feet from my all time idol, was at times too much to comprehend.

For those that read this, and aren't completely familiar with Bon Jovi and the type of fans that follow, maybe this will give you an idea. I called the venue, and asked about cameras. I was told Absolutely NOT! Well, we could have brought one without any trouble. Four young beautiful ladies behind us heard my grief, and offered to make duplicates and mail them to me. Those are the kind of fans that Bon Jovi has following them! Bon Jovi has never lost sight of their fans and the fact that we care about them and their success!

Not that SR71 paled to Bon Jovi. They are a great band, and I foresee them becoming more successful in the future. You can defintely see an influence in their music...much the Bon Jovi genre at times.

Keep The Faith Everyone!
