20 May 2001 - Albany, NY, USA Concert Review 22 May 2001
Mellow but oh so good......

A review by Lisa / ldutchervh@aol.com

We drove from Binghamton, NY to see the show. My two sisters, a friend, and myself. Jamming to Bon Jovi all the way. We missed most of the first band but thought they were much better than the warm up group from last november in Wilkesbarre, PA. Bon Jovi enters the stage by an illusion of them coming up an elevator. What a great entrance. The elevator door opens and Jon and the guys walk out and just stand there. The fans go wild. Jon doesn't have to say a word. He just smiles..... oh my god..... They sing all their hits and the fans approve. They had some problems with the equipment so we got the acoustic version of a few songs. Jon's voice was great. Although he looked very tired. The concert was great but on the mellow side. It only lasted for two hours but it was the best two hours I have spent in a long time. Me and my "gang" have tickets to see them in Hershey, PA July 22nd. I can't wait.......
