Yep - he summed it up. It might have poured with rain at the end, but you know what? It was a hot night.
Hampden was in an uproar from start to finish - from 12-year-old kids through to the 50-year-old couples. What other band could manage that?
There were too many highlights throughout the 2hour plus show for me to put down here. For me, The crowd’s reactions for the encores were amazing. I was lucky to be still standing at the end.
'Bad Medicine/Shout' was probably my top highlight - though Jon's voice on 'Bed Of Roses' comes pretty close.
They promised us One Wild Night - and they gave us one.
And although this is supposed to be about the music - I can't ignore how good Ritchie and Jon looked!
