24 June 2001 - Hamburg, Germany Concert Review |

Great job - but...
First of all: it was a great show on Trabrennbahn!
This was my 3rd BJ concert and I have to agree with the others. It was the best I've ever seen live. The band did a great job, but - as mentioned before - the audience was really lazy. Ok, they were singing and clapping and, and ,and - they sure had fun, but they were not this kind of enthusiastic as they are elsewhere. This is Hamburg... Second problem, I guess, was the mixture of ages. The old people don't rock like this and most of the youngest don't know songs like 'raise yor hands', 'wild in the streets' or 'wild is the wind'. Those songs have never been on a 'best of'-album!
Never mind - BJ rocked and keeps on - keep the faith
