I think so. Those songs could have fit in perfectly on NJ. "Tequila in his Heartbeat, His Veins Full Of Gasoline" is so Bon Jovi/DC back then.

By the way, Great Job Identifying all those songs!!!! but this post was already done a couple months back.

Yuridia (a mexican female singer) released a cover of "Como Yo Nadie Te Ha Amado" (This Ain't A Love Song spanish version) a couple years ago and it was a huge success in Latin American countries as well as in Spain.

Her cover sucks though!

This claim I truly doubt if it's true.

Anyway, House Of Fire for Alice Cooper was written by JBJ/RS, it is a great song, they should've kept it.

Iīve been wondering this since I heard the NJ demos.

Do you know for sure it was written by JB and RS? Another possibility would be that the song was Desmondīs to begin with. When JB turned it down for some reason, DC or the record company handed it over to Alice Cooper and claimed it was partly written by Joan Jett.

Just speculating, though. And the chorus sounds a lot like LOAP.

I know Jovi demoed this track, but the songwriting credits on the "Trash" album do not have either of them listed as writing it....

That's because it was written by Desmond Child and Joan Jett. It was offered to Jovi, they demoed it and turned it down. Although I'm sure if it would've wound up on New Jersey, it would've had Jons name on it. But that's just politics, it happens all the time.

It could have happened, yes, you know Jon's politics, if he didn't write it then it's not an official album song, being the big exception She Don't Know Me when he was forced to recorded it and include it in the album.

Ah ok. My mistake then.

Still, a great song. Bon Jovi should've released a proper recording of it as a b-side.
