Agreed rdkopper and rosa3 are looking for excuses all the time. There is no excuse to play the same set all the time, these guys are PROFESSIONALS.

It's not that! I just get it because I'm a Super Power and understand Jon...

Jon keeps calling what's going on a rebirth... This is a brand new Bon Jovi and Jon's goal is not trying to recreate the past with these new members. He's trying to make it all seem different while staying the same... The band up there are about the new music. Shank's isn't on tour to play in a Bon Jovi classic cover band... Everett Bradley isn't there to sit out 5 or 6 songs a night. THINFS is Bon Jovi 2017 and their first album as a band... and more so a band without Richie... This is where Jon is right now... It's a rebirth and a new start...

We are now at what basically is a 30 date mini tour. Jon's goal is to create a set-list that covers everyone while keeping his voice somewhat preserved. It's not a 100 gig 8 month tour. It's just 30 shows so Jon puts together what HE THINKS is the best set-list to get through it... Something that he thinks will satisfy the different levels of fans, the old band members, the new band members, and more so, himself...

He think's he's got the winning formula! Attendance is there, the reviews have been great, the majority of people are leaving happy... Why does he need to change it? This isn't a massive world tour and they are hardly playing repeat cities. Again, why change it? To satisfy the 15 people on here who aren't even attending the shows anyway? Before the internet, in the early 90's Jon did the same thing and no one cared... 30 shows, 40 songs total... No screens, 7 new songs, story telling, 2 and a half hours shows, Jon performing like he's 30 running around and jumping into the audience...All from a guy we thought would never tour again after 2013, 2015 and even questioned more at the beginning of 2016.

These shows have been ****ing great... Reading a setlist and spot watching a select full of videos is shit and to be honest, your opinions don't validate or mean shit anyway... because everyone on here who actually did attended a show squashes everyone's opinions who hasn't attended a show to shreds... It's not just me A Rosa, it's everyone who attended...

This is WINNING as far as I'm concerned...

The winning part is keeping the house full every night despite the fact he can't sing anymore.

That's the proof that people can and certainly will be fooled.

But he can sing... he's just limited... there are times where he hits notes and you're like 'wow'... attend a show, you'll see...

I'll never understand the complaining about the set lists that are qualified with, "They used to use more variety." No, they didn't. They said they did, but the set lists have always been pretty close to the same on various tours. I literally have hundreds of shows sitting in my closet. I've always been left scratching my head wondering what they are talking about when they said they change the set list nightly. A song here and there doesn't make for dramatic differences in my opinion. They have even gotten stuck on the same cover songs. Forgive me for arguing with the boss, but when he says the shows change nightly, he's full of it and always has been.

Maybe its because ive seen them a fair few times but Im happy with the current sets... not ecstatic (In These Arms DB on Vocals, and Ill Be There For You tonight please!) but im pretty sure criticism has been aimed at the band before for not sticking with the new material that.. lets be honest they are meant to be promoting! The tour is called "This House Is Not For Sale" and once more from what ive seen Jon and the band sell it and BELIEVE in it with PASSION! Something that I feel Jon and the band have been missing since the Lost highway record, I hope they bring the tour to the UK next year for some arenas or smaller intimate shows, I luv this Jon hes hungry again, working hard and selling the material old and new with passion! That for me is the priority!

I was holding out hope for Dry County on the last night, but that hope is fading fast. More likely Always and Saturday Night or Blood On Blood. For those going, enjoy the show!

The only people who want to hear Dry County are die hards. I've been to several shows where they did it and it goes over like a lead balloon. It's too long and casual fans don't know it. Personally, having heard it live, I'd take two new songs I'd never heard live in its place, gladly. Or even old songs I've never heard in person... I'm still waiting for Wild Is the Wind. They would go over just as poorly, but wouldn't bore people for ten straight minutes of the same song.

There's not a chance in hell of this happening, but what if Richie were to make a surprise guest appearance at tonight's show? It's he last show of the leg, in what is essentially the band's hometown, so if it were to ever actually happen, wouldn't it be at a show like this one?
