if they do things like they did on SA tour I dont see reason why not go in front of a crowd that large.
he has ups and downs but generally he is listenable.

Number of tickets sold in Australia is irrelevant to what they can/will sell in the UK. They still book arenas in the US.

I personally think it will be a stadium tour - it will have been 6 years since the last one. They just need to not overbook it initially- a north, south and midlands stadium to start with and then anything else because of "phenomenal demand" It's not out of the realms of possibility to do the main stadiums - London, Manchester, Glasgow and then do a few arenas in the "smaller" areas like Bristol, Coventry, Leeds or something.

It's all dependant on promo and prices. Price it reasonably with a decent bit of promo and they'll do well. Continue to fleece the fans with stupidly high prices playing the same setlists and not bothering to plug it and it'll be a lame duck.

I think you are underestimating how massive they remain in Australia. There aren't many tickets left on ticketek.com.au

I suspect we might see a Stadium MK date, especially with Rod Stewart & Take That having announced dates there for next year.

I think that there'll be at least 1 date in Eastern Europe, because, as someone else above me said, the demand in central Europe and The UK isn't as big anymore. I can honestly see them do Munich, maybe Spain, London, and one of Greece, Romania, Turkey, Bulgaria.

Are you basing that 100K on the reported capacity at MCG? If so, I'm afraid you're overestimating by about half. While 100K might be the capacity for sporting events, I'm not sure you can apply that to a rock concert. Looking at the seating chart for Bon Jovi tickets, it seems that almost half of the stadium is greyed out, which I assume means "unavailable". Even considering additional seating on the field, that would still reduce seating capacity for Bon Jovi to somewhere between 50-60K, wouldn't it?

http://mccnews.mcc.org.au/_/media/fi...plan.pdf?la=en

Around 50K sounds reasonable to me, and more in line with previous MCG concerts. According to Wiki references, the record attendance for any single rock concert at MCG is a little over 50K (50, 974 for Madonna). Paul McCartney, U2, Rolling Stones, and Billy Joel/Elton John all played two consecutive nights at MCG; and the Stones are the only ones who broke 50K for a single show. Sir Paul had the highest combined attendance for both nights and that was barely over 90K.

On the Australia tour thread, Savvi estimated that approximately 70% of the tickets had been sold for Melbourne. That was close to a month ago, so it may be higher now. But even if it's a sellout, I don't see how it could possibly be expected to hit much more than 51K at best. JMO.
