Ticket sales are really up-and-down, states like Florida they seem pretty strong, but some of the dates they seem to have hardly shifted any tickets

St. Paul has been slow but I wouldn't look too much into it unless it's still like this a week before. The way they priced it with the absurd number of "platinum" and "VIP package" tickets showed that they weren't looking for an instant sell-out. With that said the dynamic pricing is already starting to kick in by increasing the number of $35 tickets and the 15th row is now going for $155. 10 years ago I would've jumped on that but not now.

With that said I have been having an easier time getting tickets to events since COVID, as I think a certain percentage of the population is still worried about crowds, especially the older acts. And I wonder if the current state of the band is ever going to start to impact ticket sales. The THINFS tour sold extremely well in the US but I wonder if some fans saw it and thought "Not as good without Richie and he can't sing anymore" and are going to skip it moving forward.

Happy to hear the sales are promising...
looking forward to the tour because i am a diehard, but i dont have high hopes..
the truth is Bj are a nostalgia act for many years...i just hope jon manages to up his game...work on his voice, as much as its possible, rework the song keys and the arrangements, have a small surprise for most shows etc
ps. i hope time has healed Jon and Rich and work together once more..

Feels heartbreaking to say this, but I don't think any of this will ever happen. Jon will continue to decline vocally to a point where he will have trouble even speaking (sometimes he actually does already), the setlists will be getting shorter and more vanilla, and Richie I'm 100% sure will never be back in any way.

I don’t mean to sound like an ahole, but I just don’t understand how can some members still have those expectations after everything we’ve seen since 2013.

Jon is done as a singer. It’s a completely different scenerio to his 2008-2011 “ressurrection”. He simply can’t afford to do anything special with the show anymore, so all the aspects (setlists, arrangements, improvisations, and so on) are pretty much tied to his capacity of “singing” the 20 or so songs that he’s currently trained to sing.

i am not talking about the 2008-2011 standards, just a lower bassy register in the voice which will benefit some songs.. a couple acoustic covers and b sides..
jon was a professional singer for many decades...its not like he learns each song vocally, he just applies his technique, which unfortunately is poor these days...the setlist conists songs that are low key and jon likes (like lost highway and who says), i am just suggesting he rotates these poor show staples with anything else...
jon is a smart guy, i still have faith in him and if there is no sign of improvement he will call it a day.. i just believe that jon as a songwriter and as a studio performer has some gas in the tank..and his poor vocal performances are 50% due to phycological reasons..

Its your choice but you should stop dreaming about all those things you mentioned.
As someone said before,Jon is done,he cant sing anymore, the band does not sound good and there is no room from acoustic songs or to rotate set lists.
The tour will be the same 20 boring songs of the last tours including 3 or 4 songs from 2020 and nothing else.
Sorry to say that mate, but those times with Bon Jovi are long gone.

B sides? He’s never done b sides so he won’t start now. Like the other have said it will be the same 20 odd boring songs that he can just about manage vocally. Anything more is a pipe dream.

I disagree with his voice issues being 50% due to psychological reasons.

Judging by the way he sounds, the way he breathes and how he tries to push some notes out, it’s clear that his vocal chords are physically past the point of no return. Him being happy won’t change that.

Of course everything went downhill in 2013 after Riche left. So I guess that was the psychological part taking a toll on the physical part. Basically all the shit he went thought in 2013 sped up the deterioration of his voice. But it doesn’t work both ways: him being happy again won’t get his voice back. The damage is physically done.

People have always underestimated the band and Jon. I can see why the negativity and a lot of fans feeling like this is it and he's done. But I also think he's still got something left in the tank and a lot left to say. I just hope he's still willing to take some risks. But count me in as one of the fans that while not blind to their current limitations I am optimistic and very much looking forward to this chapter of Bon Jovi continuing....
