NEW SONG/SINGLE "Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning"

He invites Nickelback to their South American tour and then steals their songs. Jon, you diabolical.

It is shocking just how much it sounds like them, though. Jon doesn't half rip some songs off!

Is this song a good example of 2015+ BJ? Nickelback's producer producing Nickelback soundalike old BJ songs with autotuned Jon and the eradication of Richie?

I'd say you're overreacting. Nothing terrible about this song, and (ignoring the fact that it's VERY similar to Gotta Be Somebody) it's one of the best songs I've heard from the band in 6 years (with IWY and RATEOTW the only ones better in my books).

A few words I understood differently, but very good job!

Eurovision's theme 2015, hosted by Vienna/Austria in May, was "Building Bridges". They got that one reversed (no, I don't think it has something to do with the album title).
Why so negative?

If the sound is Nickelback-ish, I'm all in for this record. I love Nickelback and Dark Horse is one of my favourite post-2000 albums, has great energy and amazing ballads.

What are you talking about? I didn't even say whether I liked it! I'm not overreacting, I'm just asking questions. Questions based on people's reactions and comments here. It's been months since we know that Jon had recruited Nickelback's producer (oh, wait! I'm the one who had posted the article ) so we feared what has just happened,we can't say it was a surprise.

I woke up at 4- something and the song was the first thing on my Facebook feed. I liked it. I think the lyrics someone wrote down aren't quite right. I'm pretty sure he said something about Jesus, not juvies.
